A U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet, which departed from RAF Lakenheath, crashed at about 11 a.m. today near Littleport, United Kingdom.
The only pilot onboard has been officially confirmed dead, but it is unknown at this time if the pilot ejected from the single-seat aircraft.
