Embraer said the crew deplaned safely and without injury. Damage to the aircraft is not known, but is not extensive.
Gaviao Peixoto is Embraer's military aircraft production and flight test center with a long 5 km runway.
This is the second incident involving the KC-390 and the first prototype. The aircraft returned to flight testing only two months ago, following a repair after losing control of the aircraft during a slow speed stall test on October 12, 2017.
