India's Reliance Defense Limited and French Thales will form an Indian Joint Venture (JV) as part of latter's offset commitment to the Rafale fighter jet deal.
With a proposed shareholding of 49 and 51 percent held respectively by Thales and Reliance, the JV will develop Indian capabilities to integrate and maintain the radar and electronic warfare sensors of Dassault Rafale.
